The worldwide studies main is a mix of interdisciplinary and disciplinary courses to supply college students with a comprehensive understanding of the interrelationships among folks as they function in numerous cultural, economic, and political settings. Graduates will have the ability to analyze cultural, financial, political and social points of contemporary international issues. This focus gives students with a historic understanding of the financial, social, and political issues of Africa, the Middle East, and their diasporas.

The Bachelor of Arts (BA) diploma in worldwide studies is multidisciplinary and designed to help students develop world perspectives and abilities required for life and careers in the twenty first century. An international research diploma thus equips our students to pursue further study & internationally oriented careers in fields corresponding to authorities, business, law, communications, improvement and education.

To apply, students should 1) be a declared International Research main, 2) must have completed 45 hours of undergraduate coursework, 3) must be registered for examine abroad in the next semester, and four) must maintain not less than a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

Many college students with a world research background examine legislation, business administration , public policy, or economics at the graduate level. In session with the program director, a pupil majoring in Worldwide Research will select 21 hours of electives to design a concentration that displays his individual curiosity and desires.
