International StudiesThe international studies major provides a multidisciplinary approach to the research of worldwide affairs with an emphasis on overseas language proficiency. Additionally they take a minimum of 4 semesters of overseas language, spend a semester overseas, and complete internships that have a clear international dimension, whether they occur overseas or within the United States. In addition, students acquire proficiency in a overseas language and research overseas for at the very least one semester.

Graduate students may pursue advanced study of Spanish language and culture. International Studies seeks to offer students with the power to understand worldwide politics throughout the context of interstate relations and overseas policy.
